Lawmakers hold moment of silence for slain Omer Neutra as thousands mourn in hometown synagogue

Lawmakers in the U.S. House of Representatives hold a moment of silence for American-Israeli Omer Neutra, who was killed by Hamas after being believed to be alive for over a year. Neutra was a tank platoon commander in the Israeli Defense Forces and responded to the Hamas attack that killed 1,200 people and initially abducted over 250 individuals. His parents believed he was still alive until recently. The fate of another soldier taken hostage, Nimrod Cohen, remains unknown.
