A 13-year-old girl involved in the beating death of disabled Reggie Brown in Washington, D.C. has been sentenced to roughly seven years in prison. The girl apologized in court prior to being sentenced. The oldest suspect, a 15-year-old, was sentenced to three years in prison for assault with a dangerous weapon. The group of girls attacked Brown because they were bored and looking for something to do. Brown's family called for the child suspects to be charged as adults.
