Suspect arrested for attacking Jewish student at Columbia

A suspect has been arrested for allegedly attacking a Jewish student at Columbia University during an anti-Israel protest. Tarek Bazrouk, a Manhattan resident, was charged with robbery and a hate crime after reportedly stealing an Israeli flag and punching the victim. The incident occurred during a protest organized by the Columbia University Apartheid Divest (CUAD) against Barnard College. The NYPD Hate Crime Task Force is investigating the case, and Columbia University has condemned the act of violence.
