The military chief of Syria's Islamist group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham has announced plans to dissolve its armed wing and integrate into the armed forces. The group rejects federalism and insists that Syria will not be divided. The chief also called on the international community to find a solution to Israeli strikes and incursions into Syrian territory. Additionally, he urged Western governments to lift the terrorist designation from the group and its leader, stating that they will ultimately be integrated into state institutions.
