The Israeli Consulate General for the Pacific Northwest highlighted the surge on social media, while Stop Antisemitism reported a star of David graffitied with the words 'kill them all' in Oakland. The vandalism follows a previous incident at San Francisco State University's Hillel House, where the word 'Khaybar' was spray-painted, referencing a historical conflict between Mohammed and Jews. The Jewish Community Relations Council Bay Area also noted numerous incidents of antisemitic graffiti in the Lake Merritt area.
