Four Israeli mutual fund managers have filed prospectuses for the launch of funds tracking Bitcoin next week, allowing the Israeli public to invest in Bitcoin in shekels. The funds will not be traded continuously, with buy and sell orders executed once a day. This move follows a regulatory change in the US earlier this year, allowing investment houses to set up ETFs tracking Bitcoin as an underlying asset. Bitcoin has recently gained support from US president-elect Donald Trump's declarations in favor of cryptocurrencies.
