An ultra-Orthodox Hasidic group is considering allowing its youth to enlist in the military, with the aim of using their training for future employment. The program would start with around 200 members and provide accommodations such as women-free environments and kosher food. However, extreme factions within the ultra-Orthodox community have protested against the initiative, claiming that enlisting in the army is strictly forbidden.
