IDF slow to withdraw from Lebanon, may need to stay longer

The IDF withdrawal from Lebanon is going slower than planned due to the slower deployment of the Lebanese army. Israeli officials believe the IDF may have to stay in southern Lebanon past the agreed 60 days. The ceasefire deal between Israel and Hezbollah stipulated that the Lebanese army would deploy in southern Lebanon to operate against Hezbollah, leading to a full Israeli withdrawal.
