A U.S.-deployed missile defense system in Israel successfully intercepted a ballistic missile launched from Yemen overnight. The Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system, deployed in Israel in October, was used to counter the Houthi-launched projectile. The success of the interception is currently being analyzed.
