The global media likes to imbue all things Palestinian with legitimacy and propriety, but there is little sense of responsibility or accountability on the part of Palestinians themselves. The Palestinians have never done accountability particularly well, and little is asked of them in return for demands made of Israel. The gift the world could give the Palestinians for 2025 is the gift of accountability.
