Qassem emphasized that resistance is a cultural, religious, political, and jihadi choice, and that the leadership of the resistance determines when and how to resist. He also claimed that at the time of the ceasefire's announcement, Hezbollah still had significant military capabilities. Qassem stated that the resistance will continue and that they broke the backbone of Israel's efforts to end the resistance project.
