Sen. Jacky Rosen, a pro-Israel Democrat from Nevada, has been assigned to the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations (SFRC) in the new Congress. Rosen, who is the third Jewish woman to serve in the U.S. Senate, has been a strong supporter of Israel's right to self-defense during the ongoing war against Hamas. With her addition to the committee, there is potential for greater bipartisan action in support of Israel. The committee will be chaired by Sen. James Risch, a Republican from Idaho.
