The German army has received parliamentary approval to purchase Elbit-made PULS rocket artillery systems, allowing them to spend €65 million on five systems. The decision to choose PULS over Lockheed Martin and Rheinmetall's competing offer was due to the lack of a usable prototype for the latter. The purchase of PULS is meant to deepen cooperation between German and Dutch artillery forces. However, it remains uncertain whether the PULS system can integrate GMLRS rockets, which are donated by the United States to Ukraine and used by many NATO nations.
