Jacob Fearnley has received his first call-up to Great Britain's Davis Cup squad for their tie against Japan. The 23-year-old Scot has risen to 86th in the world rankings after winning four ATP Challenger titles in 2024. Other players selected include Cameron Norrie, Billy Harris, and Neal Skupski. British number one Jack Draper will miss the qualifier to focus on his recovery from a hip injury. Dan Evans, who has played 28 Davis Cup ties, has not been included in the squad.
