Singapore has detained three men since October for planning to travel to the Middle East to fight against Israel, with one expressing willingness to carry out attacks in Singapore if instructed. The men were not linked to each other and had been radicalized online. They were detained under Singapore's Internal Security Act, which allows suspects to be held without trial. One of the men was willing to carry out any instruction from Iran's Supreme Leader, including conducting attacks in Singapore. The ministry also stated that two other Singaporeans had restrictions placed on them last year related to the conflict in Gaza.
