Israel has joined Guatemala in investigating allegations of human trafficking by the Lev Tahor sect. Guatemalan authorities recently rescued over 200 children, teens, and women from the sect's compound. The operation was prompted by reports from four minors who fled the compound and provided testimony about abuse and trafficking. Buried remains, potentially belonging to minors, were also found at the site.
