United States Capitol Police have identified the suspect who allegedly tried to light a car on fire while President-elect Donald Trump was paying his respects to former President Jimmy Carter. The suspect, Adrian J. Hinton, faces charges of unlawful activities after placing a flaming bag on top of a car near the Grant Memorial. Another threatening incident occurred earlier when a man arrived at the Capitol with knives, including a machete. The two incidents were not believed to be connected and did not interrupt the service for Carter.
