Hania Zataari, a mechanical engineer in Lebanon, created a chatbot on WhatsApp to provide aid to those affected by the war in the country. She aimed to help those who were not directly receiving support from the government. The chatbot, called 'aidbot', simplified access to much-needed aid for the displaced people who had lost their homes and belongings. Hania's initiative came as Israel escalated its offensive against Hezbollah, resulting in a high number of casualties and thousands of families seeking shelter in Sidon.
