The Givati Brigade soldiers killed three terrorists in an operation in Jabalya, Gaza Strip. Using drone reconnaissance, the troops located the terrorists who had taken cover in a nearby structure. The soldiers opened fire, killing two of the terrorists, and the third was killed in a subsequent targeted operation. In separate incidents, rocket sirens sounded near Gaza border communities, but one was a false alarm and the other was a single rocket launched from the Gaza Strip, which was successfully intercepted by the IAF. The Givati Brigade has been conducting extended operations in Gaza, recently eliminating Saad Saeed Zakhi Dahnon, a high-ranking member of the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization.
