Guerilla warfare and IEDs have resulted in the deaths of 11 IDF soldiers in the Beit Hanoun area of central Gaza in the past two weeks. The Hamas battalion in the area has resorted to guerilla tactics since the start of the military offensive. Four soldiers were killed when a remote explosive device was detonated on Saturday. The terrorists took advantage of bad weather to place the device on a cleared logistical route.
