Aaron Kosminski, a Polish barber, is believed to be Jack the Ripper, the notorious serial killer who terrorized Victorian London. Born in 1865, Kosminski moved to London with his family to escape anti-Semitism in Poland. He was suspected by the head of the London CID to be the perpetrator of the Ripper murders, but there was no hard evidence against him. Kosminski was committed to a lunatic asylum in 1890 and died 28 years later. Recent research has uncovered photos of Kosminski's family and used facial remodelling technology to create a composite image of the Ripper suspect.
