FBI Director Christopher Wray revealed that the New Orleans terrorist attacker, Shamsud-Din Jabbar, was radicalized by ISIS online within weeks. Jabbar killed 14 civilians in a truck attack on New Year's Day and engaged in a shootout with police before being killed. Wray described this type of terrorist threat as the most challenging, as individuals can become radicalized quickly and carry out deadly but crude attacks. The FBI is investigating the attack and looking into whether Jabbar had any accomplices.
