The New York City Police Department (NYPD) participated in a specialized law enforcement training session at the Museum of Jewish Heritage to recognize and combat antisemitism. The seminar focused on teaching attendees how to address antisemitism in its contemporary forms and provided tools to counter it. The training comes as New York's Jewish community battles a rise in antisemitic incidents, with Jews being the target of the majority of hate crimes in NYC in 2024. The rate of anti-Jewish incidents has been on the rise across the US.
