The agency urged the UK to press for continued aid access in Gaza. Israel's parliament voted in October to curb Unrwa's operations in Gaza, accusing the agency of harbouring Hamas members. Unrwa's director in Europe warned that dismantling the agency's operations would leave an entire generation without hope and deepen poverty and despair in the community.
