A Russian mercenary was arrested by U.S. Border Patrol agents near Roma, Texas, after illegally entering the U.S. He was carrying two passports, $4,000, and a drone. The mercenary, Timur Praliev, admitted to being a member of the Wagner Group. The Wagner Group is a significant transnational criminal organization and has caused problems for U.S. policymakers. The group has approximately 50,000 personnel deployed to Ukraine.
