The United Arab Emirates has signed trade agreements with Malaysia, Kenya, and New Zealand as part of its efforts to strengthen its post-oil economy plans. The deals, known as Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreements (CEPAs), aim to reduce the UAE's dependence on fossil fuels and promote long-term growth. The agreements cover various sectors, including data centers, artificial intelligence, logistics, ports, food security, and pharmaceuticals. Non-oil bilateral trade between the UAE and these countries has been steadily increasing. The UAE also plans to initiate bilateral talks for a trade deal with the European Union this year.
