Term limits can be detrimental to the functioning of Congress and the quality of American products, healthcare, education, and public safety. Imposing term limits weakens Congress and puts taxpayers and their representatives at a disadvantage. It is essentially a presidential power grab that ignores the importance of experience and expertise. Term limits benefit the president, bureaucracy, and special interests, not the voters.
