The United Nations is prepared to increase the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza after a ceasefire agreement, but major security and political obstacles must be removed to ensure supplies reach all Palestinians in need. Less than half of Gaza's hospitals are functional, water production is at a quarter of capacity, and 95% of school buildings have been damaged or destroyed. The U.N. is urging the full implementation of the ceasefire deal and the free flow of aid to save lives and help children recover. Aid groups must be given full access and adequate funding to address the immense needs in Gaza.
