Denmark is sending over $10 million in aid to the Gaza Strip to support the hard-hit civilian population and early reconstruction efforts. The country's Foreign Affairs Ministry hopes that the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas will lead to lasting peace. This aid is in addition to the 700 million Kroner provided in previous years.
