Diaspora Affairs and Combatting Antisemitism Minister Amichai Chikli threatened to resign if the hostage deal includes a retreat from the Philadelphi Corridor or if the war goals are not completed. Chikli praised the achievements of the IDF in the war against Hamas but stated that the mission is not yet complete. He emphasized the importance of fighting for the return of every hostage, citizen, and soldier. Chikli committed to resigning if there is a withdrawal from the Philadelphi Corridor before achieving the war goals. He also discussed the release of prisoners and highlighted the support of the incoming US administration for Israel's right to continue the war.
