American-Israelis Keith Siegel and Sagui Dekel-Chen are set to be released from Hamas captivity in phase one of a ceasefire-hostage deal. Keith Siegel was abducted in 2023 and will return to Israel to learn that his mother has passed away. Sagui Dekel-Chen was kidnapped in 2024 and will return to find out that his wife and children survived an attack. The release comes as President-elect Donald Trump prepares to take office and warns Hamas against further delaying a deal.
