Five students at a Massachusetts Christian college have pleaded not guilty to charges of luring an Army soldier onto their campus and attacking him as part of a 'To Catch a Predator' TikTok trend. The students, along with a juvenile, are accused of conspiring to lure the soldier using a dating app and then assaulting him. The victim, who had agreed to meet one of the students on Tinder, was surrounded by a group of 25 to 30 people who called him a 'pedophile' and prevented him from leaving. Surveillance footage showed the group chasing the victim as he tried to escape. The accused students allegedly conspired to simulate the TikTok trend of luring a sexual predator to a location and assaulting him.
