After the Israel-Hamas cease-fire goes into effect, three female hostages are expected to be released first. A total of 33 hostages will be released in Phase One of the deal, with priority given to children, women, and the sick or injured. Negotiations for Phase Two, which will include the release of all remaining Israeli hostages, will begin on the 16th day of Phase One. The Israeli Defense Force will remain in Gaza until the last hostage is freed.
