Gaza ceasefire: What does the agreement say and how many hostages will be released?

A ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas has come into effect, leading to the release of hostages and a gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza. In the first stage of the deal, 33 hostages will be freed over six weeks. Israel will also release 737 Palestinian prisoners and 1,167 Palestinians detained in Gaza. The deal also includes a buffer zone inside Gaza for Israeli troops to pull back into, allowing displaced Palestinians to return to their homes. The agreement requires the daily entry of 600 truckloads of humanitarian aid into Gaza. Negotiations for a second phase of the agreement will begin on the 16th day of phase one.
