Four Israeli hostages were released by Hamas in a highly choreographed handover in Palestine Square, Gaza City. The hostages, along with masked gunmen, were shepherded to a stage where they waved, smiled, and held hands. Hamas gave each hostage a bag of items to take with them back to Israel. The release of the hostages comes after a ceasefire and is seen as a message to both Palestinians and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
