The Israeli Ministry of Defense is planning to use drones to deliver blood transfusions to the field in war. The chosen drone, Tzur, has already been proven successful in carrying out intelligence missions. The Tzur will be able to carry packages weighing 6 or 7 kilograms and 5-6 blood transfusions. The IDF was the first military force to introduce transfusions in the field, resulting in record success in reducing the number of soldiers who died from their wounds.
