Marc Reiss, head of foreign resident and new immigrant activity at Mizrahi Tefahot Bank, has announced that the bank has improved its financial products and created new ones to help ease the financial burdens of residents in Israel's North. The bank has provided bridging and renovation loans to residents who have been unable to live in their homes due to the war, as well as large business loans to assist small businesses that had to close suddenly. Mizrahi Tefahot has also introduced a new product that offers discounted vouchers to businesses for customers to purchase their products. The bank is also offering all-purpose loans to mortgage clients returning to their homes after being away for more than a year, as well as bridging loans to residents waiting for reimbursement from the government for war-damaged homes. New mortgage customers in the North can also obtain mortgages with special benefits to encourage resettlement.
