Sadie Frost has detailed a phone call she had with Marianne Faithfull shortly before the pop icon died on Thursday aged 78. The Swinging Sixties poster girl's death was confirmed by her spokesperson in a statement which read: 'It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of the singer, songwriter and actress Marianne Faithfull. 'Marianne passed away peacefully in London today, in the company of her loving family. She will be dearly missed.' Tributes soon came pouring in for the singer and now Empire State actress Sadie, 59, has joined those paying their respects, revealing they had planned to meet up.
