Hamas fighters staged a beachfront handover of an Israeli-American hostage in Gaza City. The handover took place on a stage at a harbour, with Hamas and Palestinian flags waving in the background. Earlier, two other hostages were handed over in a ceremony in Khan Yunis. The released hostage, Keith Siegel, appeared to have difficulty moving as he mounted the stage. The handover was accompanied by heavily armed militants and portraits of slain Hamas leaders. The hostages were handed over to the Red Cross after the formalities were completed.
