A neo-Nazi and white supremacist group called Terrorgram has been hit with counter-terrorism financing sanctions by the Australian government. The online network promotes racially motivated violence and shares fascist content. This is the first time Australia has imposed such sanctions on an entirely online entity. The government is also debating strengthened hate speech laws, while the opposition is pushing for mandatory minimum prison sentences for terror offences.
