The collapse of the two-state solution is due to the changing Western public opinion and the shift in focus from problem-solving to the recognition of Palestinian rights. The idea of a full-fledged Palestinian state is no longer seen as viable and is viewed as a strategic threat. The article argues for exploring new frameworks based on organic Middle East realities, such as the Abraham Accords.
