President Donald Trump praised his press secretary Karoline Leavitt during a press conference, stating that she has been doing a great job and is talked about more than anyone else. Leavitt, the youngest ever White House press secretary, has clashed with the mainstream media and has designated a seat in the briefing room for friendly conservative outlets. Despite her control over the briefing room, Leavitt has had a few stumbles, including a federal judge citing one of her online posts. Trump had four press secretaries during his first term, with his last one, Stephanie Grisham, never holding a briefing and endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris at the Democratic convention.
