The Trump administration has appointed Leo Terrell, a Black Republican attorney and former Fox News contributor, to lead a new federal antisemitism task force targeting campus protests. Terrell, who is not Jewish, will serve as a senior counsel in the Justice Department's civil rights division and oversee the task force, which includes representatives from the Department of Education and Health and Human Services. He has already announced new Title VI antisemitism investigations into several universities. Terrell has previously criticized Joe Biden's handling of antisemitism and declared that no Jewish American should vote Democrat.
