The Pushkin Museum in Moscow is hosting an exhibition featuring a restored 4th-century BCE fresco that was recently displayed to the public for the first time. The fresco depicts a Samnite warrior on horseback returning from battle with a symbolic trophy. After being stored in a museum basement for a century, the fresco underwent extensive restoration to reveal its original vividness of colors. The exhibition also includes seven pieces of red-figure pottery.
