Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praises President Donald Trump's proposal of a U.S. takeover of Gaza, calling it a 'remarkable idea' that should be pursued and examined. Trump suggested leveling and rebuilding the Gaza Strip, as well as relocating Palestinians to neighboring countries during the reconstruction. Netanyahu also expressed Israel's commitment to destroying Hamas' military and governing capabilities. The fragile ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas is currently in place as hostages are being released.
