Amazon CEO Andy Jassy has welcomed the release of employee Sasha Troufanov, who was held hostage since October 7, 2023. Troufanov's mother, grandmother, and girlfriend were also held captive but were released in November 2023. Amazon had maintained complete silence on the matter, following advice from hostage negotiation consultants.
