The images, including depictions of Israelis as snakes and a Star of David made out of dollar bills, were displayed at a hearing where the MTA was questioned about distributing the material to children. The MTA defended the images, stating they were meant to help educators engage with students on the topic. Following the hearing, the MTA announced that the offensive images had been taken down from their website.
