A former Iranian prisoner has warned a British couple detained in Iran on espionage charges to not submit to making false confessions. Anoosheh Ashoori, who was jailed for nearly five years in Iran on spying charges, advised the couple to remain strong. He also urged western countries to unite to confront hostage-taking and extortion. The couple, Craig and Lindsay Foreman, were on a motorcycle journey around the world when they were detained in Iran in January.
