Amateur detectorists in Poland have discovered a cache of medieval weaponry near the village of Wielka Tymawa, including a one-meter-long hand-and-a-half sword. The objects are believed to date back to the 14th or 15th century and are exceptionally well preserved. The artifacts have been transferred to the Ostróda Museum for further examination and will eventually be placed in a permanent exhibition. This discovery is significant as it is the first two-handed sword in the museum's collection.
