Israel has deployed tanks in the West Bank for the first time in two decades as tensions escalate with armed Palestinian groups. Israeli defence minister Israel Katz has stated that displaced Palestinian residents will not be allowed to return to their homes. The deployment comes after bombs exploded on three buses in Tel Aviv, resembling improvised bombs made in the West Bank.
